Our team will review your application and determine which volunteer opportunities are appropriate based on your age, experience, requested role, and level of interaction with youth.
Depending on your volunteer role, you may be required to complete safety training, background screening, waivers, orientation, or other FSM requirements before volunteering.
Once approved, you’ll be able to sign up for available volunteer opportunities or be contacted about opportunities that match your interests.
Arrive prepared, follow FSM policies and the direction of your assigned staff member, and help us make a difference.
Some volunteer opportunities may involve interaction with First Serve Miami participants. Because the safety and well-being of our youth comes first, additional requirements may apply to volunteers serving in youth-facing roles. Requirements may vary based on your age and the type and frequency of your interaction with youth.
Adult volunteers serving in applicable youth-facing roles may be required to complete USTA Safe Play requirements, including applicable training and background screening.
Volunteers should never assume that approval for one type of volunteer activity automatically qualifies them for every FSM activity or program.
